1978 Aria Pro II Japan LP-600R "Black Beauty" Les Paul Custom (Black)
Made by the Matsumoku factory in June of 1978, the LP-600R is a rarer-than-most three-pickup Les Paul Custom from Aria Pro II. Mahogany body with a slim 60's three-piece maple neck and bound rosewood fretboard, it weighs a very reasonable 4.2kg's (making it much more playable than some of the 5kg builds from a similar era). Loaded with three Extra II humbuckers controlled by 3V, 1T wiring.
Good overall vintage condition for a 1978 build. Has the traditional binding rot that many of these guitars suffer from, it's purely cosmetic and doesn't offer any structural or tonal issues. Given a full professional setup and service, the finish is clean with light signs of wear, the frets were levelled and are shiny and smooth and the neck is straight with a fully adjustable truss.
