1977 Navigator (by ESP Japan) Esparto SP-01 Stratocaster (Brown Sunburst)

Made in small batches within the ESP Tokyo workshop, Esparto guitars were primarily made to replicate Fender style instruments. Looks to be a single piece ash body (we genuinely can't find a join in the grain..) with a rock a rock maple neck, it's finished with a "special varnished" brown sunburst finish and weighs 3.3kg's. Loaded with the original alnico pickups, it's had new pots and tone caps installed otherwise it appears to be all original.

Given a full setup and service prior to listing. The frets show some signs of wear but are shiny and play well, the neck is straight with an adjustable truss. Cosmetically it shows a few signs of wear and tear but overall it's in very nice shape for a 70's build.
