1977 Greco SE-800N Super Sound '54 Reissue Stratocaster (Natural)
Made in the Fujigen factory in 1977, this appears to be a custom order (non catalog) '54 reissue model from Greco. Poly finish on a two-piece ash body, one piece maple neck with a soft V profile, weighs 3.4kg's. Factory Schaller tuners (only available on -800/1000/1200 level models and custom orders) and Maxon Excel single coils that sound great. Single ply pickguard and 3-way pickup selector cap of the true '54 aesthetic.
This one seems to have an aftermarket tremolo installed, otherwise we've left it all original. The pickups sound great however the pots and switch will likely need replacing as they cut out and have some scratchy sounds, if you get a high end wiring harness installed then i guarantee you'll have one of the coolest Strats you've ever owned! Truss works well and the neck is straight, frets were polished and have life left, plays with a smooth low "vintage" action.
