1977 Greco Japan PS-800 Paul Stanley Flying V (Aged White) w/Hard Case
Touring Japan in 1977, Paul Stanley (KISS) was seen to have used what is assumed to be a Greco Flying V with a mirror guard and single pickup on stage for a majority of his shows. With the success of these shows, the Fujigen factory built a small run of these and released them as the PS-800. This is one of the only PS-800's to ever hit the western market!
These were a set-neck mahogany construction with the eye-catching mirror guard and an aged white finish (although some were available in black). Features a harmonica-style bridge, it runs off a master volume and tone knob and is loaded with a higher end Maxon U-3000 humbucker. Weighs 3.3kg's.
Good cosmetic condition with basic signs of use as pictured, received a basic setup and service prior to being listed. Neck plays nicely and has plenty of life in the frets. Mirror finish guard has minimal scratching, hardware is functional and shiny. No signs of stress on the neck joint or headstock.
Includes a fitted vintage hard case (likely original).
