1977 Greco EG-600J Oxblood Les Paul Standard (Jeff Beck Model)
Following the success of Jeff Beck's Japanese shows in the 70's, companies like Greco and Fernandes were quick to add guitars to their catalogs that were aimed at replicating his stage used instruments.
The EG-600J was a Fujigen built copy of his famous '54 Oxblood Les Paul and is an incredibly rare guitar from Greco. Wraptail bridge and a black finish that's faded to a near Olive Green make these stand out against the rest of the '77 catalog. Weighs around 3.5kg's.
Bridge was replaced with an intonatable model. Pickups were upgraded to a Seymour Duncan SH-1 set along with CTS pots and Sprague capacitors. Tuners were also replaced.
Received a full professional setup prior to listing, frets are polished and play well and the neck is straight. Minor signs of cosmetic wear and some finish cracking/chips but nothing major.
