1976 Greco Japan SE-700 Super Sound '54 Reissue Stratocaster (Cream)

Part of the Greco Project Series (small batches made outside of catalog specs), this is a beautiful '54 reissue model SE-700 from the Fujigen factory in late 1976. Seemingly an alder body with a one-piece maple neck (slim C profile), it's got a lovely faded cream finish and a suitably aged gold pickguard. Loaded with the original wiring and Maxon Excel pickups. Weighs 3.7kg's. 

We had it professionally setup prior to listing, plays and sounds good. Some pitting to the frets but they still play fine as is and have life left. Some clouding to the finish on the headstock and some of the logo has peeled off, nothing that impacts on playing or tone. Knobs have been replaced, otherwise it appears all original.
