1976 Greco Japan JB450S Jazz Bass (Sunburst)
Description:
Made in Japan by the Fujigen factory in 1976, this was the Greco version of the new Fender Jazz Bass model released in the early 70's. Three-tone sunburst finish on the mahogany body, it features block inlays and binding on the rosewood fretboard and a slim three-piece maple neck. Weighs 4.6kg's.
Received a full professional setup prior to listing including a truss adjustment and fret polish. Plays well and sounds great with wear and tear to the finish as pictured. Pickguard was removed by the previous owner (for the Jaco aesthetic?) and the knobs are aftermarket. The body (pictured) was professionally injected with adhesive and clamped where the pancake construction had separated slightly. Rock solid now with no issues moving forward.
