1973 Greco Japan EG-420 Les Paul Standard (Brown Sunburst)
The Greco EG-420 is a great entry into vintage guitars. These were made in Japan by the Fujigen factory and were designed to be an affordable version of the Gibson guitars being made at the time.
Open book headstock with the Gibson-style logo font and Trapezoid inlays give this the real Les Paul look. Really pretty laminate top gives it a great aesthetic, pancake construction and weighs 4.2kg's. Loaded with the original Maxon humbuckers (neck pickup not currently functioning).
Previous owner did some obvious work to this including adding a vibrato system into the body and a new roller bridge. We had it professionally setup and serviced prior to listing and it's playing well. Frets are low but play well with minimal buzzing, good to go as it sits or give it some work and make it really shine!
