1973 Greco EG-420 Les Paul Standard (Cherry Sunburst)
A Les Paul from the very early days of Greco, this is one of the few early models that wore a super aesthetic laminate flame on the cherry sunburst finish. Solid pancake construction (4.1kg's) with a maple neck and 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, it's loaded with the original factory mismatched Maxon pickups that sound great.
This one's seen plenty of use over it's 50 years but actually seems to be all original. The pots are slightly scratchy but still work as they should, there's a small shim in the nut on the D string as the slot is a little too deep but otherwise it presents well. Low frets that are shiny and play smooth with light pitting, restrung recently with a truss adjustment.
