1970's Teisco Japan Telecaster Deluxe Vintage Electric Guitar
Incredibly rare guitars from the famous Japanese manufacturer, this is one of their early 1970's models that came out very quickly after Fender released the Telecaster Deluxe. Teisco are known for their oddball guitars and weird shapes, but this one has a true Fender feel and has an obvious increase in overall craftsmanship.
The finish seems to be a transparent plum (possibly a faded brown?) and the neck is maple with a maple board. 648mm scale length with a nice thick rounded neck profile. Weighs 3.3kg's.
Great cosmetic condition with barely any signs of use, hardware and finish are shiny and clean and the frets are original and still showing life. Bridge pickup unfortunately not working.
