Roland AP-5 Phaser
MIJ in the 70's!
The Roland AP-5 Phase Five was one of the earliest examples of Roland building portable effects pedals for musicians. The AP-5 was aimed to emulate Leslie style tones without the need for a large rotating speaker cabinet.
The AP-5 has two functions (Touch Control and Continuous Control) that can be switched between using the middle footswitch. Touch Control uses a combination of the input signal and the Sensitivity knob to control the level/rate of the phase. Continuous Control is a more conventional phaser featuring dual rate functions (that ramp up and down in speed much like a Leslie cabinet) and an intensity control. Both fast and slow speed modes have their own speed knob and are selected using the Fast/Slow footswitch.
This example is a factory 240v model with an Australian power plug, very rare!
Used shape. Works well with only cosmetic wear (see the pics for more).
