1970's Japanese Stratocaster (Natural Ash)
Description:
Made in Japan in the 1970's, this is a really clean CBS style Stratocaster. Looks to be an ash (or sen) body maple neck and fretboard, it weighs 3.6kg's. Bullet style truss rod and large headstock, it's got a three-way selector switch and includes the original bridge cover. Neck is reasonably thick and has a slight V profile.
Good used condition for it's age, truss is firm and the neck has a slight forward bow. Frets are vintage and were polished prior to listing. Previous owner sanded the front of the headstock, so we added one of our own decals.
