1970's Heerby (Kasuga Japan) LS-500BS Les Paul Standard (Brown Sunburst)
Made by Kasuga in the 1970's, the LS-500BS was a Les Paul Standard model sold under the well respected Heerby brand in Japan. Pancake mahogany construction with a slim 60's mahogany neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 4kg's. Original Maxon humbucker in the neck position with an aftermarket WSC pickup in the bridge along with a brand new bridge, jack plate, jack and selector switch.
Just back from a full service prior to listing, glued and clamped semi-broken headstock with the area levelled, sanded and buffed so it's smooth to the touch and not noticeable in the hand. Plays and sound great with shiny frets (smooth with slight play wear) and a straight neck.
