1970's Gaban Japan Thunderbird Bass (Yellow Sunburst)
Made in Japan through the 1970's, Gaban guitars were distributed by Fukuhara Musical Instrument Company and were found in many alongside Tokai guitars. Yellow sunburst finish on the body with a set neck construction, 20 fret rosewood fingerboard with a 43mm nut width and 34" scale length, it weighs 4kg's. Loaded with the original "mini humbucker" pickups controlled by two volume and two tone controls.
Good vintage condition as pictured standard signs of cosmetic wear and tear, given a full professional setup/service prior to listing. Frets are shiny and the truss adjusts as it should, the neck is straight and plays nicely. Has had a recent partial fretboard re-glue as pictured along with some new pots and a partial fret level.
