1970's Fresher Japan '70's Style Jazz Bass (Sunburst)
Fresher guitars were built in the famous Matsumoto region of Japan throughout the 1970's and were sold by Kyowa (responsible for importing Charvel, Jackson, Takamine etc). This bass features the desirable Fender font logo and is very obviously their Jazz bass model from the mid 70's, taking a liberal amount of inspiration from the new '72 model Fender Jazz Bass.
Block inlays on a bound rosewood fretboard with a mahogany neck, three-tone sunburst finish on the front and back of the body. Weighs 4.9kg's. Features 70's pickup spacing (4 inches) and is seemingly all original.
Good overall condition with some dings and patina as pictured. Plays well with a nice straight neck, frets have plenty of life.
