1970's Fresher Japan 70's Style Jazz Bass "Personal Bass" (Sunburst)
Fresher guitars were built in the famous Matsumoto region of Japan throughout the 1970's and were sold by Kyowa (responsible for importing Charvel, Jackson, Takamine etc). This "Personal Bass" is very obviously their Jazz bass model from the late 70's, taking a liberal amount of inspiration from the Fender models available at the time..
Black block inlays on a maple neck with a bound maple fingerboard, this one still has the original bridge and pickup covers and thumb rest. Strung with black flatwound strings to match the aesthetic of the neck, it's had a basic setup and service and has brand new pickups installed (unknown make/model). Truss is functional, frets are low but polished and play great. Weighs 4.7kg's.
