Epiphone ET-270 Electric Guitar
Made in the Matsumoku factory in Japan during the golden age of Japanese electric guitars. These (like many other Japanese guitars of the 60's and 70's) were designed as entry-level instruments for the market. Guitarists quickly realised the quality of these instruments though, and they were used by countless professional and amateur musicians worldwide.
The ET-270 was favoured by Grunge guitarist Kurt Cobain, who used one famously during the making of Nirvana’s debut album, Bleach. The original single-coil pickups were replaced with some dog-ear P90's, otherwise it's seemingly all original. Features a tremolo system similar to a Jaguar and a bass boost switch for a beefed up low end.
