Made under the Matsumoto Musical Instrument Manufacturers' Association in the 1970's, the Camel branded instruments were higher end Japanese made models. Mahogany back with a plain maple top, set mahogany neck with a slim 60's profile, rosewood fingerboard, weighs 4.3kg's. Camel Gotoh humbucker in the bridge position with an unknown humbucker in the neck and Camel branded tuners, has a brand new output jack installed. This is one of the rarer Japanese guitars that had the words Les Paul written on the headstock.
Received a full professional service prior to listing including a partial fret level, wiring tidy up and setup. Frets are shiny with plenty of life, neck is straight and the truss works as it should.
