1970 Yamaha FG-230 Red Label 12-String Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar
Made in Japan in 1970, the red label FG-230 features a solid spruce top with a rosewood back & sides, a slim mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard.
Good vintage condition as pictured with some basic wear, received a professional steam neck reset to adjust the neck angle without completely removing the neck (so the finish on the neck pocket remains untouched) along with a setup including a fret polish and fretboard oil.
Frets show some light wear and pitting but are shiny and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss, plays well with a medium action (3mm at the 12th fret on the low E), saddle has some room to lower it more if need be.
