1970’s Fresher Japan Les Paul Custom (Brown Sunburst)
Fresher guitars were built in the famous Matsumoto region of Japan throughout the 1970's and were sold by Kyowa (responsible for importing Charvel, Jackson, Takamine etc).
This early 70's Fresher Les Paul Custom was one of their higher end models made during the peak period of Japanese companies emulating American design (full LPC aesthetic with cream binding, open book headstock and block inlays). Brown sunburst finish, mahogany pancake body and a slim 60's mahogany neck with a dark rosewood fingerboard. Weighs 4kg's and is loaded with the original cream humbuckers (possibly Gotoh's) and vintage Gotoh tuners.
A reasonably tidy vintage guitar, restrung and given a basic service prior to listing including a fret polish and truss adjustment. Seems to be all original except for a brand new output jack, electronics were flushed and the pots operate smoothly.
