1960's Teisco EP-200B Hollow Body Short Scale Bass (Made in Japan)
An incredibly rare bass from the earlier days of Teisco. Most EP-200B models feature a rotary pickup selector and a slightly different layout, i believe this is an earlier model than that which would likely date it to the mid 1960's.
Weighs only 2.5kg's! A nice slim mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, 77cm (30inch) scale length. Dual single coil pickups with a volume control for each and a master tone control all fixed to a deep pearloid control plate. Includes original dual thumb rests and the bridge cover/mute.
Has that classic hollowbody vintage resonance, or pair it with an 8x10 and your favourite fuzz for some huge feedback'd grit.
Low E tuner is a little stiff and there's plenty of age to it. Neck angle was adjusted and is straight, plays well as it sits with brand new strings.
