1960's Greco VB Violin Beatle Bass (Made in Japan)
These old Greco VB models are a cost effective way to have a great quality Hofner style bass. Looks to be a spruce top body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. This is a mid-late 1960's model with the early headstock logo and pickups. Has a great 60's pop for that classic sound that's tough to replicate with other basses.
In pretty solid condition for a 50 year old guitar, has obvious signs of cosmetic wear and tear. I've flushed out the electronics with cleaner and they're all working, switches are a little sticky but should be okay. Neck plays well, intonation is good, frets are a little low (but these came pretty low out of the factory anyway).
All in all it's a really cool vintage bass that's been gradually rising in value over the last 5-10 years!
