1960's Aria Diamond Burns Style Guitar (Made in Japan)
Styled after the Jim Burns models coming from the UK in the 60's (note the split pickguards), this is a Matsumoku made classic.
628mm scale length, weighs in at 3.5kg's and has a slim contoured body. Good overall cosmetic condition as pictured, but shows basic signs of use for a 50 year old instrument. Recently strung with new strings. Tremolo arm is missing, but is easily replaceable. Headstock logo is also missing, but the two screw holes indicate that this was an Aria Diamond branded model.
Two of the classic Matsumoku signature pickups that you would have seen on a lot of the Japanese Epiphone models with individual rocker switches, crazy nice vintage sounds on tap. The tone toggle switch is scratchy but functions with a firm touch, both pickups, switches and pots are working well.
