1950's Teisco EP-13 Hollowbody Electric Guitar (Made in Japan)
Made in Japan by Teisco in the mid 1950's, this is a Gibson ES-5 style guitar with a lot of vintage charm. Much rarer than the oddball Teisco models! Dual humbuckers with a 3-way rotary switch and master volume/tone controls give a great range of tones. Perfect for either a modern fuzz-blues setting with plenty of feedback or still a great jazz box!
Light checking in the paint show some nice age, plays beautifully with a nice low smooth action. Thick neck with a V profile. Very lightweight. Structurally stable with no signs of cracking or lifting, electronics seem original and are fully functional.
