1980 Tokai Les Paul Reborn LS-50 w/OHSC (Natural)
I've recently been personally given the opportunity to list some old gear through the Mojo Stompboxes store that is straight from the Tokai factory in Hamamatsu, Japan. This includes prototypes, one-off builds and old models that have lived in the factory for many years until being uncovered by one of our business partners.
Made in 1980, this is one of the incredibly desirable models that wears the original Les Paul Reborn logo that collectors seek. Mahogany body with a plain maple top that has no finish other than a light clear coat, one piece mahogany neck with a slim C profile, it weighs 4.3kg's and includes the original fitted and branded case as pictured. Loaded with the original Tokai PAF humbuckers that sound perfect. Truly one-of-a-kind.
Since arriving with us we've added a full wiring loom and a few other missing parts, still has the original bridge and tailpiece. Neck is straight and the frets are shiny/smooth with plenty of life left. Professionally serviced prior to listing so it's good to go.
