1990's Fernandes Japan TEJB-70 Telecaster Bass w/EMG's (Black)
The very rare bass variant of the TEJ series made in Japan by Fernandes in the 1990's. The TEJB-70 has a basswood body with a bound top, bound rosewood fingerboard (32" scale, 13.75" radius), maple neck with a slim profile and weighs 4.1kg's.
The factory pickups were removed and replaced with active EMG's for a super modern and high powered tone.
Good used condition as pictured with some signs of wear, restrung recently and plays well as it sits. Truss is adjustable and the neck is straight, frets are shiny and smooth. Small crack in the headstock near the screw for the low E tuner, very shallow and not a structural issue.
