1980's Fresher Japan Protean Series Jeff Beck Stratocaster (White)
Fresher guitars were built in the famous Matsumoto region of Japan throughout the 1970's and were sold by Kyowa (responsible for importing Charvel, Jackson, Takamine etc).
Part of Fresher's Protean series, this is a Jeff Beck replica (a Becklica if you will) that emulates the guitar Beck used on his Japanese tour in the late 1970's. Basswood body with a slim C maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3.5kg's. Loaded with three alnico single coil pickups controlled by individual three-way mini toggles and master volume/tone knobs.
A reasonably clean vintage guitar, restrung and given a basic service prior to listing including a fret polish and truss adjustment. Seems to be all original, electronics were flushed and the pots operate smoothly. Frets are reasonably low and flat but still play smoothly.
