1997 Ibanez Japan SR1000 SDGR Sound Gear Bass (Stained Oil)
Made by the Fujigen factory in 1997, the SR1000 was a high end model from the SDGR series. Weighs 3.7kg's.
Features a mahogany body bolted to a bubinga/wenge neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. "Custom Made" inlay at the 24th fret, IBZ AFR PJ pickups, AccuCast-B IV bridge, a Vari-Mid 3-band EQ, gold Japanese hardware and Gotoh tuning machines. Controls consist of a pickup balance knob, volume, stacked treble boost/cut and bass boost/cut, and stacked mid range boost/cut and mid range frequency selector.
Serviced and restrung prior to listing, it's got shiny frets and a straight neck with an adjustable truss and only very light signs of wear as pictured. Strings are a little old but can be replaced with a generic set prior to shipping if you request it.
