1981 Greco Japan SE-500J Jeff Beck Model Stratocaster (White)
From the 1981 Greco catalog, these SE-J models were produced to emulate the guitar Jeff Beck toured Japan with in the late 70's. Seems to be an ash body with a maple neck (u shaped) and rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3.7kg's. Loaded with three individual pickup selectors (three way toggles with on/off/phase functions) and master volume and tone knobs, the original Maxon single coils sound as good as you'd expect.
This one has seen some use over the years but is in reasonably good condition. Truss is functional and the neck was adjusted, fretboard was oiled and the frets were polished (some pitting especially on the higher strings) and play fine as is. Electronics are all original and working well, restrung prior to listing.
