1992 Greco Japan EG-550 Rock Spirits Les Paul Standard (Brown Sunburst)
Made by the Fujigen factory in 1992 as part of the Greco Rock Spirits line of models sold to the Japanese domestic market. Flamed maple top with a mahogany back and slim 60's mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, it weighs a beefy 4.5kg's. True Les Paul aesthetic with a bell truss rod cover, open book headstock and Gibson style inlays. These use the very impressive three-bolt removable neck design (one external screw and two internally through the tenon) that means the neck can be taken off while still being capable of the sustain of a glued neck construction.
Seems to be all original with the exception of a partial refret from the 18th to 22nd frets where there was some damage. Received a full professional setup and service prior to listing and plays and sounds great. Don't sleep on these 90's Greco models!
