1983 Ibanez Japan MC-888 Musician "Bean Bass" (Neckthrough)
A petit option from the Ibanez Musician Series (that's usually known for big, heavy basses), the famous Bean Bass is a compact and portable bass with plenty of bite. 24 frets with a 860mm scale length, it's built around ash wings and a maple/walnut transmit neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Weighs 3.6kg's.
Loaded with a Super P5/J5 pickup combo, it's built for versatility and has a range of sounds onboard. All original with Ibanez Velve Tune machine heads and adjustable bridge.
Good used condition with plenty of signs of wear. Neck was sanded back as the clear coat was peeling, it's now nice and smooth and plays well. Truss is adjustable and the neck is straight with polished frets that play well with new strings.
