1979 Aria Pro II Japan (Matsumoku) TSB-550 Tri-Sound Neckthrough Bass (Brown)
Neckthrough Aria basses are inarguably some of the best Japanese instruments ever made. Manufactured by the Matsumoku factory in September 1979, this TSB-550 is an outstanding example of what the TSB series was all about.
Stunning grain on the ash body with maple/walnut transmit neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs just under 4kg's. Loaded with the original MB dual coil pickup controlled by a master volume/tone and a dual-sound switch.
This one is in very tidy cosmetic condition with basic signs of wear from general use. All original except for the knobs. Restrung prior to listing, truss is functional and the neck is straight.
