2001 Gibson USA "Black Beauty" Les Paul Custom (Ebony)
A two-pickup Black Beauty model Les Paul Custom from a VERY good era of Gibson manufacturing. Made in 2001 (serial 02811578), it's a nice hefty mahogany build with a slim 60's mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard with big block inlays, weighs 4kg's. Includes the original hard case.
Of course, it wouldn't be a Gibson if it didn't have a headstock repair! This one received a professional headstock repair and paint touch-up around the area prior to a setup and service. It's also got four brand new CTS pots wired in along with a new pickup selector to control the aftermarket Dimarzio Super Distortion and DP-03 Norton humbuckers.
Frets have plenty of life left and are shiny with some light pitting and playwear, truss adjusts perfectly and the neck is straight. Plenty of cosmetic bumps and bruises, some light sticker tan and some great natural buckle rash, if you're after a guitar that's been played and loved then this won't disappoint!
