1987 Yamaha Japan Session II 512 Contemporary Stratocaster (White)
Made in Japan from the mid 1980's, the Session series were designed as "contemporary" workhorse guitars for professional musicians. Don't let the Yamaha name fool you, these older Japanese made models are exceptional quality and were made in the same city as Tokai and Boss!
The 512 was a mid range model that took inspiration from Fender Stratocaster design, but adds a sleekness to the contours and Jackson style pickup routing for a more comfortable and versatile experience. Alder body with a maple neck and 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (648mm scale length), weighs 3.8kg's. HSS electronics system with a coil split on the humbucker, floating tremolo system.
Good vintage condition with some cosmetic bumps and dings as pictured, Given a full basic service prior to listing, plays well and sounds great.
